Second surprise: హోటల్ in Telugu usually means a restaurant. If you want a room for the night, ask for a లాడ్జి or రూమ్. And in traditional meals restaurants, refills of rice, sambar, rasam and curries are unlimited and brought around without being asked — so learn చాలు ("enough") as urgently as you learn ఇంకొంచెం ("a little more")
